Collecting signs- symbols from the routes of life, childhood memories and the archetypes of

dreams, Zen Garden compose an audiovisual journey into the roots of emotion.

From internal reality to the external and their union.

From subconscious to conscious. From the different

aspects of feminine to the various masculine qualities

and in the end into their marriage through purity of

feeling.

Every sound- form- image- symbol appears out of the darkness and silence and

dissolves back into them.

Inspired by Alice in Wonderland, they make use of contradictory levels as much in image as in music (ranging from electronica,

IDM, breakbeat to ambient with live vocals and sampling).

A minimal black & white frame of masked Big ones

(musicians on stilts: Stefan Torto: synths, programming, guitars, and Yiannis Smeros: sound effects, samples),

inside the live visual background (s.bell),

welcomes the action of the Children Souls

(Roxani Garefalaki: vocals, butoh,

and Yianna Medvedeva : aerial acrobatics, butoh).
